Project Information
Gaughan Group successfully completed a comprehensive fire prevention and stopping project focusing on emergency stairwell and carpark areas.
Challenges
The project encompassed the removal of all existing timber-framed elements and non-fire-resistant materials in compliance with current health and safety regulations and disposal protocols.
Keys to Success
- All existing timber frame-built items and non-fire-resistant materials were systematically removed in line with stringent health, safety, and disposal regulations.
- Walls, boxings, stair treads, and iron gates were rebuilt using intumescent fire products, A1 non-combustible Composite cladding, A1 non-combustible decking, and an A1 aluminium-built frame to ensure enhanced fire resistance.
- A1 non-combustible rockwool fire batts, A1 non-combustible membrane, and A1 fire-resistant primer and masonry paint were meticulously applied to reinforce fire prevention measures across the project site.
- Gaughan Group's meticulous execution of the fire prevention and stopping project has significantly bolstered safety measures in the emergency stairwell and carpark areas.
